| Day 1: Juneau, Alaska: On arrival, transfer to your yacht where the crew greets you with champagne. Meals Served: D Days 2-3: Glacier Bay National Park: Tidewater glaciers sweep like rivers of ice down massive mountain valleys into the waters of Glacier Bay. You have two days to explore this majestic national park. Spend your days paddling kayaks to observe puffin, sea lion, mountain goat, bear, moose and eagle who live in the spectacular wilderness. At night, anchor in hidden coves. Meals Served: B L D Days 4-6: Fjords, Glaciers and Hot Springs: Spend three days in the wildest, most pristine corners of Alaska. Paddle your kayak in remote fjords, hike to natural hot springs, wander through the temperate rainforest of southeast Alaska and walk on a boulder field created by a glacier that rests near the shoreline. Meals Served: B L D Days 7-8: Alaskan Communities: Join local guides to privately explore some quaint port towns. Get a firsthand look at Petersburg's Norwegian history. Then stop in Meyers Chuck, a hidden village with fewer than 50 people. Finally, discover the rich cultural heritage of Alaska's Tlingit Indians on a guided tour of Saxman Totem Village in Ketchikan with local village resident Joe Williams. Meals Served: B L D Day 9: Alaskan Waterways: Spend the day cruising the southern passages of the Alaskan Panhandle, watching out for porpoise, whale and seabirds along the way. Drop anchor this afternoon and lower the kayaks and skiff for close-up explorations before calling it a day. Meals Served: B L D Day 10: Prince Rupert, British Columbia: Prince Rupert is British Columbia's northernmost port along 'Safari Quest's' route. Embark on a historic sightseeing and museum tour for an introduction to this scenic community. Afterward, begin exploring the fjords along the northern coast before anchoring in a quiet cove this evening. Meals Served: B L D Days 11-13: Canadian Inside Passage: Search for orca, seal, sea lion and bear today. Join your expedition leader for a nature hike or kayak excursion. Later, watch a First Nations dance performance in a large cedar-planked house. Then step ashore with naturalists from Raincoast Conservation Society who discuss local wildlife and fisheries studies, including little-known details about the rainforest wolf and the mysterious spirit bear. Meals Served: B L D Day 14: Deception Pass: Return to the USA today to cruise among the scenic, low-lying islands of Puget Sound. Go through Deception Pass, a narrow cut between two islands where the churning waters attract seabirds and seals. Then travel farther south to anchor and lower the kayaks for the last evening on the water. Tonight, join your fellow travellers for a festive farewell dinner and a slideshow of your amazing voyage through the Inside Passage.
