| Day 1: Seattle, Washington: Transfer to your yacht where your crew greets you with champagne and hors d'oeuvres. Meals Served: D Day 2: The San Juan Islands and Friday Harbor: Settle into the rhythm of the sea as 'Safari Spirit' cruises through the hundreds of untouched islands in the San Juans. Stroll through Friday Harbor, Washington — a boater's haven. Visit the intriguing Whale Museum or have a look at the many boutique shops in this tiny town. Depart for Canadian waters this afternoon — all eyes open for orca — and anchor in a quiet bay this evening. Meals Served: B L D Days 3-6: Exploring the Canadian Inside Passage: Search for orca, seal, sea lion and bear today. Join your expedition leader for a nature hike or kayak excursion. Later, watch a First Nations dance performance in a large cedar-planked house. Then step ashore with naturalists from Raincoast Conservation Society who discuss local wildlife and fisheries studies, including little-known details about the rainforest wolf and the mysterious spirit bear. Meals Served: B L D Day 7: Prince Rupert, British Columbia: Prince Rupert is British Columbia's northernmost port along 'Safari Spirit's' route. Embark on a historic sightseeing and museum tour for an introduction to this scenic community. Enjoy a walk in town after dinner. Meals Served: B L D Day 8: Ketchikan, Alaska: Discover the rich, cultural heritage of Alaska's Tlingit Indians on a guided tour or Saxman Totem Village with local village resident Joe Williams. You also have time to browse the shops or stroll along Creek Street. Meals Served: B L D Day 9: Alaskan Waterways: Stop in Meyer's Chuck, a hidden village with fewer than 50 people. Later, 'Safari Spirit' anchors in Canoe Pass where there is an opportunity for a closer look at the region from kayaks. Meals Served: B L D Day 10: Petersburg, Alaska: Join a local guide for a private tour of Petersburg, a charming fishing port with Norwegian roots. This afternoon, enter some of the richest whale waters in southeast Alaska; watch for the familiar blows of humpback whale. Meals Served: B L D Days 11-12: Fjords and Hot Springs: Spend two days in the wildest, most pristine corners of Alaska paddling kayaks in remote fjords, hiking to natural hot springs and wandering through the temperate rainforest. Meals Served: B L D Days 13-14: Glacier Bay National Park: Tidewater glaciers sweep like rivers of ice down massive mountain valleys into the waters of Glacier Bay. You have two days to explore this majestic national park. Spend your days paddling kayaks to observe puffin, sea lion, mountain goat, bear, moose and eagle who live in the spectacular wilderness.
